by Mark Robbins and William Laderberg

This year’s festival boasts an interesting, entertaining, and exciting lineup of international films.

Along with the terrific members of our Film Screening Committee, we invite you to the upcoming 23rd Virginia Festival of Jewish Film. Mark your calendars for this next week (January 16th through 24th) to see the very finest in international Jewish cinema. These fantastic movies will not be shown anywhere else in our area. The Film Screening Committee—chaired by Mark Robbins and William Laderberg– have spent the last year watching, discussing, and finally deciding to show such a wonderful lineup of movies from all over the world. We would change our name to The Virginia Festival of International Jewish Film, but Howard won’t let us! International Jewish Film, but Howard won’t let us!

In the short span of one week you will travel from London to Baltimore…with stops in Paris, Romania and Israel. You can even visit a deli in Houston, Texas!

Once again we will be at Sandler Center, Naro Cinema, Beach Movie Bistro, Roper Theater and Beth Sholom Village.

Please join us in making our 23rd Virginia Festival of Jewish Film as successful as the past years.

*of Blessed Memory
